Where is Marisol?
We are in Todos Santos, Baja California Sur, on a bluff above the Pacific about an hour north of San José del Cabo. The historic center is a ten-minute walk down the hill.
What is Marisol, in short?
A sixteen-room coastal design hotel built around slowness and light. Two saltwater pools, an open-air kitchen, a spa cabana, and boards and bicycles for guests.
What is included in a stay?
Breakfast is included every morning, along with the two saltwater pools, the honor bar, fast wifi, beach towels, and bicycles you are free to borrow for the ride into town.
How do I get the best rate?
Book direct. Direct guests always get our best available rate, a welcome mezcal on arrival, and late checkout whenever the calendar allows.

How many rooms are there, and how do they differ?
Sixteen rooms, no two quite alike. They range from the ground-floor Garden Casita to the top-floor Ocean Suite and the freestanding Bungalow, so sleeping counts, baths, and views vary by room.
Which rooms are best for families?
The Bungalow and the Pool Casita are the picks for families, with room for up to four and a daybed or second bedroom. Cots are available on request at no charge.
Are any rooms dog-friendly?
The Garden Casita and the Bungalow welcome well-behaved dogs for a small cleaning fee. Let us know in advance so we can set up a bed and bowls, and keep them leashed in shared areas.
Is breakfast included with every room?
Yes. Breakfast is included with every room and served in the courtyard until late, changing with whatever the kitchen finds at the market that morning.
How do I reserve a specific room?
Open the room you want and select Reserve, or check availability for your dates on the booking page. The front desk is happy to help if you have a question first.

How do deposits and payment work?
We hold a one-night deposit at the time of booking to confirm your dates. The balance is settled at checkout. We accept all major cards and cash in pesos or US dollars.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel free up to 7 days before arrival for a full refund of your deposit. Within 7 days, the first night is charged at 50 percent. High-season holiday weeks need 14 days notice.
Is there a minimum stay?
Two nights most of the year, and three nights during high-season holiday weeks in late December and around Easter. Single nights are sometimes possible last minute, so do ask.
When are check-in and checkout?
Check-in is from 3pm and checkout is by 11am. Early arrival and late checkout are often possible depending on the day, so message us and we will hold your bags either way.

A full breakfast is included with every room and served in the courtyard until late. It changes with what the kitchen finds at the market, so expect fruit, fresh eggs, and good coffee.
Can I bring my dog?
Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the Garden Casita and the Bungalow for a small cleaning fee. Let us know in advance so we can set up a bed and bowls, and keep them leashed in shared areas.
What is on site beyond the rooms?
Two saltwater pools, an open-air kitchen, a spa cabana, an honor bar, a small library, beach towels, and bicycles you are free to borrow. Fast wifi reaches every room and the gardens.
Do I need to book the spa or surf ahead?
The pools, bikes, and honor bar are always open to guests. Spa treatments, surf lessons, and the kitchen table dinner book up, so add them at booking or at the front desk a day ahead.

What is the nearest airport?
Los Cabos International (SJD) is the closest, about an hour by car. Most guests fly in there. La Paz (LAP) is a similar distance to the north if the schedule suits you better.
Can you arrange a transfer?
Yes. We work with a local driver and can book a private transfer from SJD straight to the hotel. Send us your flight details and we will have someone waiting with your name at arrivals.
Should I rent a car, and is there parking?
Town is walkable, so a car is not essential, but it helps for beach days and day trips. We have free on-site parking, and the rental desks are all at the airport.
How do I get into town from the hotel?
The historic center is a 10-minute walk along a quiet road, or a short ride. Borrow one of our bicycles, or we can call a taxi any time you would rather not walk back uphill.

How quickly will I hear back?
Most messages get a reply within one business day. For something time-sensitive, such as a same-week arrival, calling reception is the fastest way to reach us.
Can you help with a group or private event?
Yes. Choose the Groups and events topic and tell us your dates and headcount. We host small weddings, retreats, and full-property buyouts, and we will put together options for you.
